|Recommended: YesA quiet, centrally located property — It's a good property, with secure entrances. The move in process was quick, and easy. Having a designated parking spot, quiet and clean property, with an optional easy to use WiFi enabled cash coin free laundry on the property makes living here nice, and relaxing.
|Recommended: YesGood place to live nice a quiet. — Its quiet and peaceful people keep to themselves and are very friendly.
|Recommended: YesIt was a good living space. — It's a nice space in very nice area. Most places you need were in walking distance and the beach is just minutes away.
|Recommended: YesDecent place for reasonable price — Overall, it is a good complex. There is no cross breeze, so apartments on the bottom floor are extremely warm all year round with no air conditioning. Staff is helpful and friendly. Issues reported are fixed quickly. Laundry in the building is convenient. Other residents are courteous. Security is minimal - exterior doors tend to not latch, and front door lock is unsecured and easily bypassed.
|Recommended: YesNice property with good management — The property was very nice. Management was very friendly and helpful when we needed them. Parking was a little tight at times, and the lack of windows was tough with trying to keep our apartment cool during the day. All in all though it was an enjoyable experience there.
|Recommended: YesNice apartments, good location — These apartments are in a good location. You can walk to restaurants, the grocery, and I even walk to the beach. The apartments themselves are nice. Most of the neighbors were relatively quiet.
The apartments do get hot. Ceiling fans would be helpful, I think. Central air would be ideal. I would also recommend gating the parking lot, rather than just the building. I think it would be worth the investment.
Overall, they are nice apartments. I especially like the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom and the storage space in the bathroom. The skylight is nice, and adds character, too.
|Recommended: YesGood Price for Value — I was lucky enough to be in a unit not facing the parking lot. San Diego summers without AC in the units can be especially brutal. I was able to get by with a fan and portable AC, but it's a quiet and picturesque town since it's insular and far removed from the busy streets of Pt. Loma. It's safe and an ideal spot, within walking distance for restaurants, public library, and bus stops. Because I go to school downtown, Padres games were nightmarish for parking. Having the bus stops as an option was also good. The unit was good for my purposes married student. Even though the kitchen's a bit small for my tastes, I learned to be economical. You might have some noisy apartment neighbors, but nothing a small mention can't cure. But, beware, DO NOT park in other people's parking spaces, especially the space closest to the back door near the laundry unit. They're pretty trigger friendly on that towing hotline.

|Recommended: YesNice place in a lovely community with some fatal issues — I enjoy the Loma Highlands community. Its residents are pleasant and conscientious. The buildings location is integrated in to a lively part of what feels like an insulated community. The park and library are beautiful, the local market has that small town feel as the cashiers will address you buy name, and if you need to get around San Diego in a pinch you are right in the center of 3 highly accessible roadways Nimitz, Rosecrans, Harbor drive . What is absolutely horrible is the maintenance side of things. When I first moved in it felt as though they had renovated the entire apartment just before I had moved in . The paint was fresh, the tile looked fantastic, and the trim were all neat and clean. 4 months later everything thing seems to be degrading and its becoming noticeable. The main issue I have with maintenance, however, is the grapefruit sized hole in my ceiling for the past month. Ive had issues with water dripping onto my ceiling and the first time I placed a maintenance order they cut a hole in my shower to inspect. They said it didn't seem to be an issue and plastered the hole back up. They informed me that they'd be back in a few days to paint over it. Its been 3 months and there is still bare, unpainted plaster looming over me as I shower.
So a month ago I was awoken at 5 am to water dripping on to my pillow and, sure enough, its coming through the ceiling. I contact maintenance and they come 5 hours later. We pull my bed out and the maintenance guy puts a paint spattered bucket to catch the drip. He cuts a hole in the ceiling and after some time they've discovered the leak. It'll take a week to do the work, yada, yada, yada.....we'll be back in a few days to paint the shower and fix the hole in you ceiling. Yeah, its been a month. I placed another maintenance order 2-3 weeks ago to remind them its here. Nothing. So overall, its a cool little community and if you're a collector of paint spattered buckets in your living space then this could be the place for you. P.s. Ive been sick this entire month the hole has been in my ceiling which has been a real treat every time I see the warning signs outside the building saying that the area contains chemicals that can cause cancer, birth defects, and reproductive damage. I guess Ill know who to sue if I ever get cancer.
